Install Shedtally in two taps

There’s no app store. Shedtally opens in your browser and installs to your home screen or dock like any other app. It’s the same app on phones and computers.

iPhone and iPad

Use Safari.

  1. Open Shedtally in Safari.
  2. Tap Share (the square with an arrow, at the bottom).
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.

Android

Use Chrome.

  1. Open Shedtally in Chrome.
  2. Tap Install Shedtally when it offers.
  3. Or tap the ⋮ menu, then Install app (or Add to Home screen).

Windows or Mac: Chrome or Edge

Recommended on a computer.

  1. Open Shedtally in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Click the install icon at the right of the address bar (a screen with a down arrow).
  3. Click Install. Shedtally opens in its own window.

Mac: Safari

macOS Sonoma or later.

  1. Open Shedtally in Safari.
  2. Choose File → Add to Dock.
  3. Click Add. Shedtally appears in your Dock.

Good to know

  • Open it from your home screen, dock or apps list, like any other app.
  • No signal? What you record is saved on the phone and sent when you’re back in range.
  • Alerts on iPhone need iOS 16.4 or later, with Shedtally added to the Home Screen first.
  • Updates arrive by themselves. There’s nothing to update from a store.
